COD4 help plz

ok well my mates lending me cod4 tomoz and i have my own cd key and everything but i want to know what patch to download cos im new to this lol thanks.

Hey mate, it depends on which version of the game he has. If he has the "Game of the Year Edition" then you only need to download the latest patch. Whereas on the the other hand, if he has the normal edition then you will need to download all patches up to the latest one (1.7)

Yep, you will need to download and install all the patches for cod 4

It takes 2...one goes to 1.6 and then install the 1.7 patch...not really a big or intensive process.

Tempest thats for the game of the year edition, the original edition has the 1.0 patch so you need all the patches, roby's picture is the original case.

I have the original edition as well...and there is a 1.0 to 1.6 patch.

*edit* lol now i understand what you said, i didn't realise there was a 1.0-1.6 patch.

just by chance do you know if it is the same for cod waw ??
